Train your Brain to think Positive!

Positive Thinking

Would you like to increase positive thinking and find more joy out of simple things?

Many of us get caught up in the day-to-day grind and sometimes it can be the worst ever.  We focus on what has gone wrong during our morning and finding ourselves settling in for a full day’s experience of more negative energy.  You know this day; admit it we’ve all had them; where we lose our keys, we’re running late, kids are not cooperating, traffic is not helping, and the list can go on and on. Forget positive thinking, we say to ourselves “Oh crap, another bad day on its way…”. Obstacles and past experience allow us to make these negative assumptions, because it’s a thought pattern we have developed.  This thought pattern of negativity can get stronger if we continue to practice it.  What if you could shake that pattern?

You can find yourself forgetting that coffee spill, strengthen your positive thinking skills and seeking out things to be thankful for in our every day blessings.   This challenge is designed to help you train your brain to seek out the positive things around you and to help you release the negative easier. It is scientifically proven that neurons that fire together wire together. With enough repetition, thoughts and actions can become automatic.  That’s why we can get caught in a negative thought loop or find ourselves in auto pilot mode.  You can fix this with exercising your brain and creating these new automatic responses.

Make a powerful change to positive thinking.

Its quite simple, all you need to do is ask yourself the following questions…

Positive Thinking

Positive Thinking Challenge

Instructions: For 30 days keep a log of 10 things you are thankful for. Do not use the same item twice.

Simple enough? Yes, this may sound easy…. but you are not using  the same item twice can get tricky.  It’s easy when it comes to the obvious blessings or things to be thankful for.  Home, health, healthy kids, job, car, relationship, food, clothing, friends, and family.  The basics are covered…now what?  Well start looking around you!

You will find things all over to be thankful for and will be training your brain to seek out these items. Don’t know what to look for, well here are some ideas… Did someone let you in during traffic? Were there free donuts at the office meeting today? No spill or thrills throughout the day? Able to buy lunch for a friend?  Got the sale? Found a sale?  We are setting new brain patterns by constantly seeking and trying to find the positive.  Having a record of you fulfilling your goal will give you 300 blessings in just 30 days and a lifetime habit of finding the positive in every day.

I am ready to accept this challenge and I ask you to do the same.  Follow Monti Kelly on Facebook and for my updates and my daily results. I hope you find inspiration in my honesty in sharing this challenge and showing my personal heart on my Facebook Page.
